Guide to the Program
Textile Design II course introduces a broad range of textile Design processes and theoretical perspective on the business of textile design. Students will be provided the opportunity to gain skills and ability to develop and design concepts of designing and learning creative new ways to execute a variety of application and technical specification within textile design. The study of textiles includes the technical structure of fabrics and methods of fabrication as well as art appreciation, basic computer application, art of stitching, various aspects of design from conceptualizing to developing to processing which covers a range of techniques for altering and embellishing.
