Academic Advice

All IBSW students will have an academic advisor to turn to at the time of choosing courses. Academic advisors will be responsible for providing students with academic guidance pertaining to assignments, research and approach throughout their stay at IBSW. They will assist the students in overcoming obstacles on the journey to excellence.

Every little hiccup, every major setback along the way would be attended to and looked after with sincerity and the utmost care. Student advice is not limited to simply coming up with academic suggestions. It is about mental conditioning, instilling confidence into the youth and as a result, investing in future leaders.

At IBSW, we believe that no one was born with self-confidence. It was determined by how we were raised, the schools we went to, the bosses we eventually worked under. It was the environment. Academic advising, hence, is about shifting the paradigm of dialogue from ‘you are the problem’ to ‘we have a problem’. It is about bringing about changes in the discourse by paying heed to the lingo that is in use. IBSW boasts of having chosen the right leaders who can bring honesty back in fashion by making students feel helped and not hurt, supported and not yelled at. At IBSW, we do not nurture the best, we nurture the better to become the best version of themselves.

Career Advice

Similarly, to the Academic Advice services, all IBSW students will have access to a career counselor for guidance and advice with current and future career decisions and questions, they come across.

Everyone is already cut out for a certain profession. All of us have been sent to this world with a purpose, an ideology that truly resonates with our belief-system. Careers are not made, they are discovered at IBSW. In conjunction with the Academic Advising services, all IBSW students will have access to a career counselor for guidance and advice on current and future career decisions. In addition, our counselors will help students draft their CVs, letters of motivation, develop professional networks and consequently, accumulate work experience. Our career counselors are adept at taking stock of situations to facilitate the surgical changes that would have a profound impact on their lives in times ahead. IBSW takes pride in creating an environment that has space for mistakes and its rectification, sans the fear of judgement.

Safety & Security

Safety is non-negotiable. IBSW strives to provide a safe and friendly environment that is conducive to learning and free of harassment of any kind and proportion. We have  staff who work closely with the Community, City Police, State Fire and Emergency Services, and Emergency Ambulance Services to ensure that the safety of our students go uncompromised. IBSW is dedicated to maintaining the overall hygiene of our establishment. Although many procedures are in place to ensure your safety, the ultimate responsibility for your well-being rests with you. It is important to develop habits and instincts that minimize risk for yourself and others while being supported by safety and security programs and services. 

Stringent policies are in place to protect the students in the light of any mishap or nuisance intended or otherwise but that does not serve as justification for reckless and negligent behavior. Your safety ultimately lies in your hands. IBSW will do its absolute best to protect you as long as you are on the right side of the law.

Non-Discriminatory Policy

IBSW systematically processes all academic program applications without an iota of bias. IBSW does not discriminate on the basis of age, disability, nationality, ethnicity, gender, marital status, military/veteran status, race, or religion when determining the eligibility for admission. Any student who has questions or concerns about these policies may speak directly with Director of Human Resources.

IBSW encourages reporting of all perceived incidents of discrimination or harassment. It is our policy to promptly investigate such reports. It prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports discrimination or harassment or participates in an investigation of such reports. We strictly adopt a zero tolerance approach towards harassment or misconduct of any kind and the person found guilty of such unlawful discriminatory practices shall result in his/her immediate termination and will be handed over to a fair trial. We are committed to creating and maintaining a work environment that is devoid of any hint of hostility.

Anti-ragging policy

Ragging in any form is banned inside and outside the campus. Strict action will be taken against persons flouting this rule; no leniency will be shown. Suspension and/or withdrawal from the hostel/school or both is the first action against the offender.
